"share" in the process
Community Supported Agriculture
community supported agriculture (csa)
The CSA, or community supported agriculture, model allows allows community members to support local farms by purchasing a "share" in advance of the harvest. As a CSA participant, you share in the risks and bounty of crop production, providing an investment that helps to cover the costs of seeds and equipment needed to run the farm.
In return for this investment, our CSA members receive weekly deliveries of field-fresh flowers throughout our 12-week growing season.
Our flower shares come in three sizes. The prices listed below are for the entire season.
[posey]: Just right for your desk at work or to leave on the doorstep of a friend ($125)
[bouquet]: Perfectly suited to make a table arrangement ($175)
[bucket]: Enough to share and enjoy throughout your home ($275)
Arrangements can be picked up at our flower cart, located in the lobby of the Fondren Corner Building, between 1:00 and 6:00 pm on Mondays or Fridays. We also offer home delivery for members in Fondren and Belhaven. The cost for weekly delivery for the entire season is $50.
As a small farm, we are limited in the number of shares we are able to offer each season. In order to reserve your spot, we ask that you please submit a $50 deposit. When we receive your application, we will be in touch via email with information about payment options.
2018 CSA Season: June 4 - August 31.
